Children Notes & Observation

Making notes after each session and writing observations is very important to track the child's progress. By Maintaining the records you are documenting the information for future use. It will also be beneficial when more than one specialist is working with the child, so as to track the observations of the other specialists and take the final decision. 

In Kidaura, notes and observations can be maintained and are visible in the profile section of the particular child. For example, if the Speech therapy session is conducted with the child and the therapist wants to record his/her observation, then the below steps can be followed - 

• Visit the children section of the dashboard.
• Select the profile of the child you want to record observation.
• Go to Notes
• Click on Add button and start recording your observation.

• After recording observations, click on the Save button.

Recording Notes/Observation for IEP Goals

You can also record your observations related to the IEPs of the child. For this purpose follow the below steps - 

• Visit the children section of the dashboard.
• Select the profile of the child you want to record observation.
• Select the option of IEP available in the child's profile.
• Click on the View and edit button of the particular IEP.
• Record your observations and click on the Save button.
